Presenter - Dr. Betina Szkudlarek
Senior Lecturer in Management at The University of Sydney Business School.
She obtained her PhD in Cross-Cultural Management cum laude from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (The Netherlands) where she worked as an Assistant Professor prior to joining the UoS.
Betina's core research interests lie at the intersection of cross-cultural management, international HRM, international business ethics, and, management of diversity.
Her work has been published in top-tier international journals such as Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics and Academy of Management Learning and Education.
Betina has a wide experience in training, coaching and mentoring in various areas linked to intercultural communication, global leadership development, human resources and management of diversity.
She has worked with corporate and governmental clients including, among others, Shell, Deutsche Telekom, Daimler, MAN, Kaspersky and Q8.
For several years, Betina has worked with international relocation companies, where she delivers training and coaching sessions for expatriates and their families. Her work on managing repatriation challenges has been widely publicised in national and international press including the Wall Street Journal.
